What we collect
When you sign in, we collect your phone number to send a one-time password (OTP) for verification. When you place an order, we collect your delivery address and order details so we can fulfil it. We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart and browsing session: vannamayil-auth, vannamayil-cart, and vannamayil-session. If you opt in to notifications, we store a push subscription so we can send you order updates.
What we don't do
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising or tracking service. We record basic first-party usage events — page views and interactions — in our own database, to help us understand what people are shopping for. This data is not sold or shared with third parties.
How we use it
Your phone number and OTP are used only to verify sign-in — OTPs are sent by SMS and expire shortly after they are issued. Your delivery address and order details are used to process and deliver your order, and to contact you if there is a problem with it. Product images are served through a content delivery network (CloudFront); no personal data passes through it.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, or to delete your account and associated order history, by contacting us using the details below. You can also disable push notifications at any time from your browser or device settings.
